Quite a few... took it for a late night cruise through our local college town, where I attended university. Girl randomly walks up to the car and asks for a ride. Very attractive young coed.
Was pumping gas and a family pulled up in an older Sebring. Dad says to kids and mom, "That's what...
Mine still works great. I think I was the first to do this, so I feel bad that mine had no issues.
I'm not sure how official the repair place needs to be but I have a fully staffed electronics lab with electrical engineers and technicians at work, I'd be glad to throw it on the bench and see...
My auto down/up for door opening isn't working now on either side. I'm about to put the car up for sale before anything else goes wrong. Under 16k miles. None of my Ford's had this issue.
Driver's side window stopped doing the down/up dance upon opening/closing the door. Passenger side as well.
No signs of a broken regulator on the Driver's side, but the Passenger side did have a crack and start making noise a few weeks back.
Put the window down and up holding for 5...
I'm afraid I'm using just that style clamp, in stainless. I had concerns that the band style clamp would slip more easily. I may give it one more go without welding.
Thank you for the pic!
I'll likely get to it later this week or this upcoming weekend. I'll probably remove a sill and have spacers made for the hanger mount. I'd truly like to remove the mufflers and connecting pipes and replace with v-bands.
Oh I can get the sill off in a matter of 10 minutes or so. I've already replaced the sheet metal bolts with nut serts and 1/4-20s. The mechanical side of things is the least of my worries (my degree has the word mechanical in it!), just making sure I'm not crazy for wanting to space out the...
Yea, big bummer. How were you able to get the tips to protrude from the side? To keep them centered vertically, they're set in 1/4" or so. Due to the hanger rearward hanger/rubber mount, I can only imagine spacing this out to push them outward.
Thanks. I'm quite disappointed over this.
Having a bit of trouble. Looks like the exhaust slipped back off the clamp on me on the passenger side and flaked some paint away at the opening. I had them repaired and took the car to the beach this past weekend. Unfortunately it looks to have happened again. The paint hasn't chipped, just...
Thanks for the replies. My cheap comment was with regard to finding a deal. I'll spend money, that's not the issue. Paint is done in house, no cost issue there.
Just looking to see if someone had a hood around used to sell.
Ok bear with me. If you were on a Dynojet, the operator was likely using either an SAE or STD correction factor. They use a formula to automatically "equalize" the conditions, with SAE using a reference conditions of 29.23 InHg (99 kPa) of dry air and 77 F (25°C) and STD using 29.92 InHg...
With regards to the first post..... congrats! If your car feels anything like mine, it's a blast. The torque pickup is a lot of fun. When they tuned my car, I could tell how much nicer it was all around. If you look at the stock A/F curve, you can see how fat the factory tune is out of the...
No way Scott! That's the same dyno I was on and had a 439 baseline. With the latest factory flash I put down 443 but the difference is near negligible. While I do think his baseline may have been a little low, it's possible the correction factor just hurt him a bit that day.
Remember these...
Particularly one they want to part with? I'm having a few parts painted and think this would be the time to get the hood.
Let me know. I'm a cheap bastard so I'm not sure yet.
