I think it's pretty ballsy of anyone to ask that of you. It's essentially like asking to sleep with your wife. It's a dumbass question that deserves a dumbass answer; you don't have to be tactful with your response.
TRUE friends and TRUE car guys would never ask. I'd let my brother or dad drive...
The first few times I was pulled over in the RT/10 I had a streak of luck where the officers would ask things like "how much power does it have? What year? What's the speedo go to?" etc. None were overly friendly, but they weren't dicks either. The following 8 times I've been pulled over after...
Even if your H3 bulbs are too long, you can stick a screwdriver into the housing and bend the metal plate that the bulbs hit. It's basically a half circle that covers the upper portion of the bulb, but it's easily bent out of the way. Anyone driving in front of you is going to hate your guts...
I dunno about the SRT, but on the RT the mirror wire wasn't a keyed power, so if you didn't manually unplug your V1 after every drive it drained your battery.
I do know of a guy that ran new wire through the windshield frame in his 1994 to alleviate that problem.
Yeah, I knew about the event but thought it was for the members of that club only, so I didn't invite a bunch of would-be Viper party-crashers. I got the call this morning and found out I was wrong.
I was hoping to make it to DFW this weekend but I'm still not done with the car. I found someone...
I just got a call from ART; the Tri-City Mopar Club is having a HUGE event at their shop today (400+ cars) and they wanted the invite extended to the Viper guys. I know it's short notice but here's to hoping some local guys can make it out and represent!

Oh, you better believe I'll shoot it when it's done. Now, if we could get the "experts" at Wheels America to not gouge the faces when they reassemble them we'd be in business...try again, fellas!
Damn, man...they fill up that wheel well like 20s. My DRs are getting slick, so when those are gone I'll look into those. Now that the line lock is hooked up, they may go faster than I thought...
I need not a magazine to tell me my car is great.
I just laugh when I see the way the rags are written. "Viper wins in every performance test, but we'd buy the 'Vette. Why? Because we're into blending in, cupholders and traction control." They can have all the love in the world for their flavor...
The old owner is sending me his Wilwood's. I thought I heard him say 15" for the rotors but surely that can't be right? I guess I'll see when they get here.
I had my car almost 2 months before I got my plates. Of course they come in right after I break the transmission.
Yes, you do; I'm still in mourning :D
If I'm industrious I should have everything done this weekend. If things go smoothly I plan on making it up to DFW next weekend; you can check it out then, sir.
I just got my Autoform bar yesterday. The only surprise was the fact that the glovebox isn't cut out of the bulkhead. Has anyone modified (aka cut) the bulkhead to retain usage of the glovebox, or have you just thrown a net over the recess and made due with a map pocket?
Yeah, I'd only do black stripes if you went with black wheels. I also like the wider stripes on a 1996 and the fact they go through the plate area. If I do a respray I'll probably do mine like that.
The silver stripes aren't seen very much; I'd go with that second.
Dave's car is perfection, so...
