    HID Question/Input needed

    I am putting on head lights and fog for a customer of mine. He went with the 5000K version and will post the results. I would have gone lower to like 4300K because 6000 and above you will have a hard time seeing at night or at least I do. It's like driving with black lights.

    which sparkplugs do you like best?

    Thanks Leslie! I would say stock copper plugs (Champions) are the best. if you need to go with a colder plug for a modded car I found NGK's to work nicely too. Never had great luck with bosch spark plugs in my experience. Just my two cents.

    Engine Mounts, Flywheel and Clutch replace, PICS

    The camera used was a Canon 5D II with a 85mm f/1.2 lens. That lens rocks! The DOF really rocks on that lens. By the way Shandon, got my new alternator in my Ferrari and 15 minutes later it caputs on me! I was soo pissed since it's like putting in the passenger side motor mounts.

    wires

    Make sure you do one wire at a time. Don't take all of them off at the same time. You have more chance of crossing the wires and causing raw gas to be dumped in your cats and heating them way up.

    Fuel Injector cleaning mishap

    Sounds like they put your wires on wrong if they changed out the spark plug wires. That will cause your cats to get hot by dumping raw fuel in your exhaust system.

    Re: Noise isolated to the RR suspension (see video), can Eiback spring make this nois try putting some wd-40 near the bushings where the bolt goes through the fork and lower arm to see if that is where the noise is coming from. Let it soak in a bit too.

    I've changed these out on several vipers. Just did one on a SRT-10 last weekend. Driver's side comes out easy but the passenger side will come out when you rotate the mount and wiggle it out towards the back side. When doing this you can raise the engine a little bit to get clearance and do one...

I think he did alright after he figured out that turning the bolt to the right wasn't loosing it, he did well. I did have to convince him that using an adjustable wrench on all the bolts...

    I ran into a Lamborghini Diablo VT

    The Ghetto wheels on the Orange 6.0 gotta go. I agree with Austin. The Diablos are fun to drive, but they are like driving a tank. No rear or side view at all. Can be dangerous making lane changes.

If you plan on doing any kind of work on these lifts I would recommend NOT getting them. You are better off with a Back Yard Buddy or get a Revolution...
