Once before I made my post and just now a 2nd time just to see if I missed anything. The only part I saw anything mentioned about a Viper was:
So I guess back to my original question. Are we just assuming to the reasons why the Viper was not part of this?
People still buy Gen 3 coupes for 10k less than Gen 4.
If A Gen 5 is 90 and a Gen 4 coupe is 60-70 that still makes the Gen V $20-30k more, or as much as 50% more.
Gen 4 owners are sitting fine imo.
I agree with this. Watching the latest videos from "That Racing Channel" in the white Gen V reminded me of this. It's part of what makes a Viper a Viper. Big V10, RWD, stick shift.
On a side note, these videos have to be the best marketing campaign for the new Viper yet!

The key is do NOT use the ebrake when you don't have to, leave it in gear.
The pads will drag, most likely on the back side, wearing down the pads and most importantly the caliper. The thing is you wont even see it since its mostly the back side.
