envious of course with some of your mutli-viper ownships!... but curious as to why some seem to own many just to have 1 or 2 as furniture in the garage

a cold trip back from a january meet
(in the Tiger, but hope you see i was still supporting the cause :)
...so i guess be prepared for the light to come on yet: de-catted and before connecting replacement tube & muffler up ran the engine to discover the sound (yum!) - no codes from the detached sensors. connected the new arrangement up (inc. orig. sensors) and went out on test run and still no...
Thanks for the advice Wiz! Reassuring that and the fact there's no new drops on the deck after a week. Sealant time anyway, before the cold really takes hold (50F today)
Same as Baz above - just caps. Thought i'd try them first before considering springs and despite being just .5" drop, it's made enough difference. Touched the deck a few times at stock height, now i have to be far more careful... don't need to go lower.

I 've got a simpler problem (i hope...!): is there a knack to getting the wipers detached from the projecting threads?!! Manual says rocking motion should do it, but it seems as if both mine are locked onto the threads! Have tried all the different rocking motions 3 dimensions will allow but no...
Has anyone noticed this 'leaking down the threads' just appear after no recent work in the oil pan area? In 13mths / 6000miles of ownership i've never had any leaks from anywhere underneath the car until a few drops appeared on the deck in the last 2 weeks. Got underneath few days ago and the...
Was a good 200mile run. Making the most of the last of the very little good weather we've had this year... Everytime i see reporters in USA on the telly the weather always seems to be perfect...still looking for the USA:usa: job :(
& still sorting through the 2hrs of vids from the day. Others...
O i don't know about the different colours available in different years - i leave that to you and Dave to put us right! :) I'm pretty sure there's no official yellow letter on black colour USA state plate. But it's just as an unofficial a combo for a brit plate and having seen so many foreign...
...heading towards clifftops at 1220 on September 6th.
Dark grey RT/10: guessing Gen1 - didn't notice NACA but didn't see black Gen1 side exhaust sills either...but was side exit.
Guessing American plate on rear (no front plate): 'FL.....' yellow letters on dark b/ground.
Shame it wasn't...
;) It's all we have left of my old man (gives you a bit of an idea of what he was like :D
Restored 8 years ago.
Gets an oil change and about 1000miles use/yr.
Have you had a Tiger before?
unless it's 1000 track miles (!!er!!) & over a year at that mileage, it ain't old. 2002 manual states replace before 90+ day storage. and fill the fuel tank full, etc, etc. d'no why i read it - can't keep my hands off my viper for more than a fortnight at a time...!
:):):)
GTD40s (replicas with assortment of different Ford/ Chevvy V8s) Mark! The GT was the 1 that fried it's clutch . . the smell hung round while the next 2 cars ran...!

...and it was all free! (except not so cheap fuel though . . !). Really enjoyed having another viper hanging off my back around the track and yeah, surprised how well your ancient PS1s kept up . . . and how well my almost slick Toyo R888s kept me from sliding off. Did spin on 2nd session - just...
