    Why did you put the spacers under the rocker stand ??? Could this extra height account for why you went with 7.70 vs 7.65 rods ?? Good point on checking the offset of the rocker stand.

    Going from 190 degrees to 230 degrees is normal?

    Last weekend I was over at Bobby Archers Shop in Ft Worth Texas. He has a fix for the water pump issue. He has a redesigned water pump impeller ( stock ones are plastic ) that is susposed to lower the temp 10 to 20 degrees and will not free spin... The impeller is billet and is press fit. Or...

    Big Carrot, These came with new rods and spacers. Its just that the directions are leading to the possibility of milling the boss's for perfect height. I'll probably get with Keith and see what he says too.

    Tony, Send away please. I've done loose rockers on other cars and its pretty easy. Never put on a set like the T & D 's and the directions are a bit scarey as I had not planed on putting these on like a blue printer would do it. I'm pretty sure all I have to do is remove the old ones...
