    Cops around here give out tickets for no front plate, (got one for my Z06), so I worked out this technique of bending and fitting the plate into the grill which I think looks least offensive.

    Lately my stock Alpine is playing CD's fine until it gets to the 4th or 5th songs after which it skips and stalls and finally won't play at all. ( These are factory CD's not burned ). Is this new stereo time or something fixable?

    Pretty simple to find out go to Registrar of Imported Vehicles and call their 1800 number and ask them. Let us know what you find out. I believe it is a non-issue for 15 years and older. Bring it up!

    Call RIC Canada. Any car over 15 years old is admissable. Under 15 years old they need to meet air-bag standars which the pre 1996 1/2 do not. This means it looks like they are not acceptable but actually they are as they are over 15. HTH

    OK, Now that I have put a few more miles on the car since the exhause mod it is now official ... I Like It! Highway and no drone at all that I can hear (with the top off). Idle (someone described it as a deeper tone today) but I would say the sound under acceleration is tenor rather than bass...

    I am really happy with the sound that resulted from simply deleting the muffler. Removed the muffler assembly at the clamps (so easy to return to stock) and ran straight pipes out the back with Stainless Tips. Looks good sounds great. Now this car has attitude at idle and through the RPM...

    Actually, The imperial gallon is bigger and so I would get less miles per US gallon. I am a lttle heavy on the go pedal!
