If you can live with a 96, with a hard top and only 36000 miles, then call me. I'm only asking $26,500 so the price is right. Custom paint and interior.
I wouldn't like anywhere in Illinois, but that's just my opinion. Detroit would be fine, or Indy. Even somewhere south like Florida would work in a pinch. Virginia too would be cool.
Kevan, you're always welcome at my place!! The Jambalaya is still haunting me though. (Just a warning). Hope to see you in Des Moines this year for the Viper party!!!
The coil packs are unique to the viper, don't try to use any other coil pack. The resistance is different and may fry your ignition module if you try to use them. Buy originals.
Change the plugs and wires. They are probably carbon tracked. Look for a black line on the plug insulator (white part) It will look like it was drawn with a pencil.
The handle should auto adjust. There is a ratchet mechanism built in to the handle assy. You might check to see it the spring is still in place. I've seen them slip off, and there goes the auto adjustment.
We aren't trying to be intentionally cruel, this is just a sore subject for some. We like the car the way it is, just totally raw and unrefined. We prefer to have total control of the vehicle and how it acts. It would suck to have a computer spoil your fun while you're drifting across 4 lanes...
Don't forget guys, we're planning a Des Moines event that will include a road course and several kick ass photo ops. Digital photos go free to all entrants and hopefully an event shirt as well. Much more info to come. and I expect to see you there Robert!!!!
What he said. :drive: YOU are the vipers traction control! There isn't anything that the electronic nanny can do for you that your left and right foot can't accomplish just as well. Go buy a vette.
