    Back From Shanghai

Just thought I would let everyone know that I'm back from China and back on the road. Feel free to contact me if you need to have your car transported. Shanghai is an amazing place with all the money that has been pouring in over the past 10 years. You would not believe how ultra modern the...

    Gary Almond....Almond Exotic Transports

I've just about cornered the market on those 1/18 scale Heffner TT Vipers! All we have left to do is get the 1/18 scale dyno figured out and we can start testing. Unfortunately, the ones on the market can't measure that much power! :D :2tu: Shanghai is amazing!

Need Transportation of A Viper To Virginia (Gary A Is Busy)

Vacation? I don't need no stinking vacation! :D Actually, I'm going to China to look into a couple of business opportunities (and mix in a little pleasure as well). I'll be back around October 15th, but in the meantime, my daughter has taken over scheduling and quoting duties for me...

    2MANYTOYS 2GOODADEAL PICS

Brian, Congrats and glad I could help! I never asked what kind of deal you got and now I understand why you were so excited. Jerry's a great guy and was extremely helpful in loading the car and all the other goodies. He and his wife were also very hospitable. Viper guys are great! Have fun...

    Woodward GT Encounter

It's been a great weekend up here. The weather has been perfect and the tour of the Wixom Final Assy plant today was pretty cool. Everywhere you go there are GTs cruising around town. A lot of the guys here own both Vipers and Ford GTs and it's good to see a bunch of Vipers among the GTs...

    SLC area viper owners, mechanics?

Dave Harris is your best bet in SLC. I've seen a lot of Vipers running around SLC so you shouldn't have any problems finding people to hang out with.

Gary A is the MAN! new viper arrived...

Congrats Mike! What a beautiful car! The ride into Chicago was not nearly as fun as the ride out of Chicago at midnight! It's not too often that I get to sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic at midnight AND have the pleasure of paying tolls every 10 miles! ha! Casey, It's great to have a...

Talk About A Lot Of Vipers For Sale

That's definitely Bernie's ad on Ebay. I just spoke to him and he'll be here later to explain his reasoning for this approach. I can tell you, from personal experience, Bernie is a legitimate dealer and he has some of the lowest mileage and cleanest Vipers you'll find anywhere. Give him a...

Thanks Bernie Katz of BJ Motors

I wanted to publicly thank Bernie Katz for helping me out above and beyond the call of duty. I think it's good to give recognition to people who go out of their way to help fellow Viper owners. Bernie's been around here for a long time and most of you know him from his racing days. More...

    Hey You VA/MD/DC/PA/DE Viper Guys!

Since Jason Heffner moved his shop to Florida, there's been a huge void for Viper service in the DC/Baltimore metro areas. I've seen a lot of people posting here looking for a good shop to work on their cars. Well here's a big plug for Jeff Sherwin at Safford Dodge in Springfield, VA...

    Green With Envy

You guys should see this thing in person! What a beautiful car and a piece of art! The detail that "The Art of Design" put into this car is amazing. The pictures will never do justice to that pearl green paint and all the little nuances (i.e., engine compartment, logos, lettering, interior...

    Took the TwinTurbo out today!

Hey Casey! The best part is when you don't drive it for awhile it's hard to believe how much power is there. That IS one sweet ride you got there!

GARY ALMOND RESCUES 6 VIPERS IN 18 HOURS!!

Thanks everybody for the great comments! When Lee called I just couldn't say no and leave my VA/MD buddies stranded. I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into though when 14" of snow was dumped on us Saturday night! Despite all odds, we got it done and I appreciate everybody making it...

Question on CB radio & Police & Vegas for a long road trip

CBs are legal and work pretty good for getting "bear" reports. I recently bought one (handheld) to keep track of cops, accidents, traffic, etc. Things have changed a lot since they first became popular in the '70s. There's a lot less chatter and now they typically refer to each other as...

Wet sanding ... final step ...

While I'm no expert, I've studied this a lot and it seems that everybody that wet sands follows it by polishing the area with a wool pad and then using a foam pad as the final step. The wool pad can burn through the clear coat if you don't do it right. You might find a piece of scrap body...

    Heffner Twin Turbo vs Supercharger

Back on topic... Congratulations Bob! Not too many people would make that 1200+ mile trip!! I'm taking the same route as you (i.e., out with the SC, in with the TT). I've taken a ride in both SC and TT cars and the difference is amazing. Ever since I took my first ride in SalP's car, I knew...

WOOOOO HOOOOOO I GOT A VIPER!!!!!

I lowered my car 1" about 4 years ago and have never had it realigned. I've put close to 12000 miles on the tires since then and there's no abnormal wear (well, not due to alignment issues anyway! LOL!) and there aren't any issues with the car pulling left or right. YMMV.
