I ran the kit on my cast piston car and didnt have any problems with the pistons. It was pretty scary to see a lean spike at times that would hit 18 or 19:1 for roughly .3 seconds and then come back to an acceptable a/f...
anytime you start changing the geometry of the vavle train then you need to consider every part involved. Take nothing for granted and check everything several times.
Too long of a pushrod with too much preload and you can tap a piston especially if you are running stock vavle springs...

On my TNT system I run a 46 nitrous and 25 fuel for a 150 shot. You stated you have a 42 pill in the car. May wanna switch to the larger pill so the top end doesnt get so fat.

get the comp cams push rod length checker. I found one locally at a private engine parts warehouse. This wil take all the guesswork out of it for 20 bucks. Or you can order one from Summit which is in Ohio isnt it?

actually when I was at the track I was stuck running 10.50's and then I decided to put the Vipair on the car and the first pass yielded the 10.19. I picked up 3 tenths and 3 mph. What a deal for 100 bucks. :headbang:
I agree. :2tu: I have seen the pics from months ago but this is the first time I have seen the updated pic with the new intercooler design, fully polished intake piping and BIG turbos...........oh yeah I see the turbos..........2 of them............right up front and in your face. :2tu:
There is a cam sensor which is not hard to replace. The way it is offset it is pretty much in the right place or shredded by the sprocket if inserted to far.
I dont know if your stock pcm will at least crank the car with your injectors. In otherwords may wanna try pulling the VEC2 completely...

Not really apples to apples since the blue/white is considered somewhat of a collectors car(especially a low mileage all original) and the SRT is just well an SRT.
All other GENII's are well below SRT prices, at least the stock ones compared to...
Oh yeah the EASE will work at least to tell you if the sensors are working or seeing a signal. Just hook up the Ease and turn the ignition on and it should connect/communicate with the car.
I know on the standard VEC2 setup there are no relays but I am not sure of your current wiring...

Mustang now has software that makes their numbers correlate with the dynojet numbers, but hopefully this shop owner doesnt have it on his Mustang.
If you add 13% to these numbers it puts you around 590/685 which are strong numbers for your setup. Next time out go...
tires obviously are the biggest factor. If you have some dr's high 10's are achieveable if you are comfortable driving the car down the track. On street tires you just never know, especially on the 18's.
The extra power doesnt do you much good if it cant be applied to the ground. Get a set...
