I've ordered Viper oil filters many times online. This one looks different (image 4230). The information is on a label attached to the filter, not printed on the filter. Came in a box marked properly, but it's different. Box is marked 05037836ab -001.
Does anyone have experience with Expel WPF? I have an appointment coming up to have my windshield and headlights covered. Also, paint correction and ceramic coating. Anything to be concerned about before I drop off my Viper?
I had a similar, soft intermittent whirring sound in September, and the shop replaced the belt, tensioner, and pulley. Now it's back. Very infrequent. This time I noticed that when I depress the clutch pedal it goes away. Thoughts?
Looks like orange coolant is leaking. I see one drop on top of the heat shield and more below as shown in the photo. I'll have to take it for repairs. What can I expect to have done?
I'm hearing a soft whirring (woo-woo-woo) when sitting at idle. I don't hear it when I give it a little gas while stopped, and I don't hear it while driving (could be due to road noise). It doesn't always happen. I'll stop at a light and hear the sound, then at the next light, I don't hear it...
I had an evap purge solenoid installed at the shop, and the next day I discovered I have no low beams. High beams and fog lights work. Is it possible that the mechanic might have dislodged a wire while he was working under the car installing the new part, or is that unlikely?
My '02 Viper had a PO 441 code last year and I cleared it. It didn't come back on until now (about 1500 miles since). This time I got a PO441-P accompanied by a PO443. The car runs great. I cleared both codes, but I'm unsure whether to continue ignoring the issue or take it to a shop for repairs.
I got some much-needed chuckles while watching these two Brits drag race a Gen 2 Viper against a Dodge Challenger. The video is 11 minutes long, but you can fast-forward to the races (3) if you prefer.

I've always used the OEM Viper oil filter (5037836AB) but I've been having difficulty finding them. When I do, they're running around $25 shipped, which seems overly expensive to me. Can someone recommend an alternate oil filter for Gen ll Vipers?
Had a mechanic install a new condenser that I purchased from AC Auto Solutions (https://autoacsolutions.com/products/). He wasn't impressed with how it was made. Not being a mechanic I'm not sure exactly what he meant other than he thought it wasn't a "modern" style condenser considering it was...
I want to change the power steering fluid and clutch/brake fluid. What is best and how much will I need?
Also doing the rear with Mopar 68218657AA 75w140 plus Mopar 4318060AB Limited Slip Additive.
PO442 code last month so I had the purge valve and several hoses replaced by a Dodge Service tech. Can't get the hoses so they used what they could get for replacement. Cost me a small fortune to have this done. Now I have a PO441 code, which indicates a purge flow fault. Thinking a hose came...
Engine light comes on and code reader shows small emissions leak. I take it to the dealer and they run a smoke test. Test shows the purge valve and hose need to be replaced. I got the purge valve via Rock Auto. The part number for the hose is 4763804AD. Found one on eBay and they sent the wrong...
