You can go to the 2 day UHP course without any other courses.
The 2 day adv racing school is a differnt animal using the formula RT2000 cars and I think you need the 3-day racing school before that one.
I went last year. In a mix of vehicles but Viper time was very good. Would have liked more but you can learn a lot in some of the other exercises. Well worh it in fun.

AS I understand it, the run-cr@ps are made of a harder rubber so they will hold up hence when cold they don't like to grip too well. Other softer tires are available...
I have never had the problem on the road. I lost count at Skip Barber...I agree that the school is a fantastic start for the Viper owner. Only problem is they use the Michelins and it makes me want a set every time I let the clutch out.
I agree with ViperJohn after 500 miles or so, the ride settles down--I still keep a barf bag for passengers tho. Maybe the car is the same and we just get used to it...
