^ Gen 1 exhausts go out the side and GTS exhausts go out the rear so it is doubtfull. Depending on what he has, you might be able to make it work though since they are routed the same way.

Pretty sure RSI has a 3 pump hanger they sell. You can probably get them from other places also but I think they cost roughly $600 for the hanger alone. That would get you to around a grand for the pumps and the hanger.

As Isanti said, my 02 GTS did 432/480 on a dyno dynamics with only a catback. Maybe it is an issue with using 3rd gear. My brother had wierd results when 3rd gear was used at a local shop. I don't see why the hp and torque would go up after each pull.
