Now that I've had an opportunity to give my new GTS the "once-over", I noticed that there is some black paint overspray on the red side sill covers (factory option? ;-)) Is there a way to easily and SAFELY remove the overspray without harming the original red paint?

Don't understand why there would be any black overspray on your sill cover to begin with. Did you buy this car brand new?

I had the same thing on the louvers. I don't think Zaino will work, because if yours is like mine it will be under the clear coat. Painting is not done at the factory, I think it is done by the vendor before the pieces arrive. Not many options at this point..... join the club of two tone vipers.

Yes, the car is new. It looks like maybe the factory was touching up the side sills and didn't quite mask off all of the side exhaust cover. I don't think the clear coat is over the black overspray. It's almost like I could scrape it off with my fingernail, but I'm afraid I'll scratch the paint.
