'08 hood to '03 air box potential problems?

Thank you in advance to any and all who respond with any comments re the cf hood idea.

I am seriously thinking about putting a CF '08 hood on my '03. If anyone out there has done it, how does the matchup between the '03 airbox an '08 hood work out in terms of keeping hot engine air out of the intake. Special gaskets required?

I have not heard of any issues however someone was working on a GEN IV air box for GEN III cars that do the GEN IV hoods.

I have a Gen IV hood on my 2006 Coupe and have experienced no issues with the airbox (or anything else for that matter).

I have a Gen IV hood on my 2006 Coupe and have experienced no issues with the airbox. Just take your time fitting the hood and adjusting the hinges as well as the release latch.

My hood is a Vipair from Steve (GTS-R 001)
