Any 10W-xx formulation has to meet viscosity requirements at -25C, and any 5W-xx down to -30C, so you'll be fine. These requirements are two tests:
1) a test to simulate cranking (not really applicable to modern engines, since they will start at very, very low cranking speeds, not like carbureted cars) that is something like how hard it is to spin a small can sitting inside a larger can with the oil between the two, and
2) a test similar to sucking oil up a straw. This is very important, since as noted above, engines with PFI and electronic ignitions will start very well, and if the oil pump can't **** oil through the oil screen and up the oil pump tube, it will run without oil.
