19\" HRE 547R\'s on the GTS

couple of pics of the 19" HRE 547R's (thanks jonb). car is lowered with eibachs and now the wheel wells REALLY look filled. the hre's definitely changed the entire look of the car (a lot more aggressive now IMO) and ive gotten lots of compliments on them now i gotta pick up some ebc's to help out with the dust.

Very nice. I had the same wheels on my first corvette and really liked them. Was thinking of getting some for the RT/10. Here is the old vette with the wheels on:

Hey those are the same wheels, same size, same springs and same color viper that I have! Nice car! =)

What size tires are you running? I have 345/30/19 and 295/35/19 and they rub a little bit with the Eibach springs.

I love those 547's. The only problem is they look so good everyone else has them too so I've been hesitant in getting them.

Redgts/DChan415 -> im running 285/30/19 and 345/30/19. no rubbing and i can open the hood w/o having to turn the wheels.

EdmontonGTS -> absolutely, eradispeeds are already on the "to do" list.

GTSnake -> i agree, lots have the 547s due to that fact. i was a bit hesitant as well and wanted 546R's, but couldnt pass on them at the last minute. either way, im pretty happy with 'em!

btw, does anyone run 19"s + eibachs + nwe lowering caps?? just curious

I love those 547's. The only problem is they look so good everyone else has them too so I've been hesitant in getting them.

The only problem with not getting what YOU like because everyone else likes them, and so has them, is that if you find something else that looks great, everyone will like that, and everyone will get that, too. So, bottom line, just do it! LOL The longer you wait, the more Vipers will have them. Heh-heh.

I use Mothers metal polish, with micro fiber towel and then a good wheel wax.

i honestly dont like the deeper dish on the Rs...im not partial to my normal 545s, i just chose them over the Rs out of pure taste....
