1997 GTS wont start.

Must be something simple...

I can hear the fuel pump turn on, the battery has plenty of power, the starter is doing it's job until the battery gave up.

I have the battery on a charger now..

only variables that are different it's much colder than usual for me and I havnet started it in about a month.

any ideas?

ok. update.
so it finally decided to start. but I had to use the throttle to keep it on, it wouldnt idle on it's own.

??

I'm going to get some fresh gas for it, but I dont think that's the issue here.

Sounds like the pcm has to relearn idle. Just drive it for 5 minutes and you should be fine. You can also reset you tps by turning on the ignition, depressing the gas all the way (5 time slowly), turning off the ignition and waiting 30 seconds. The low battery might simply have reset the pcm. Give that a try.

Just an update. It's running fine now. Thanks all

Just needed to relearn how to idle
