1. Does it contain a step by step procedure on taking the transmission apart?

2. Anybody know where I can get the manual cheap?

Actually any Gen II manual will give the proper procedure for the removal of the trans, borrow your buddies if he has a 96 and up. I've done two clutches(96&99) and the procedures were the same. Good luck,

How bad was it? I think I have a bad bearing somewhere in there.

The removal process is fairly straight forward, but with a 2002, it should still be covered by warranty. If not, it took me about 9 hours on the first job and 6 on the second(from start to finish). Just to take it out is about a 1 to 2 hour job.

Thanks Neil, the transmission rebuilt kit seems pretty cheap.

The problem is I don't know what's wrong with it so I need to take it apart first and take a look.
