OK, so I am curious if with the new 8.4 motor we will need to have dealer support or our own OBD computer to tune the motor to conditions, like all the guys with the 'exotics' do now? Will this motor run at sea level the same as mile high without any programming needed? Will there be fewer techs certified to service the cars? :eater:

Computer will automatically adjust for higher altitudes, but car will still loose HP at altitude due to less air.
I believe that all modern race car systems adjust for air density, eg., Ferrari 360 Challenge. The Ferrari, for instance, still requires a computer (SD3=$30,000) to fine tune it to track conditions. It is one of the best reasons to buy a Viper, but I wonder about the new vIPER motor with upgraded electronics.
