I recently installed a 2008 hood on my viper, and wow what a difference! My car runs 5-10 degrees lower! This hood is not just extremely functional, but it looks great! I feel like I bought a new car. For those of us who feel the 2003-2006 vipers needed a little something more, I highly recommend getting this hood! We used DuPont paint, and no blending was necessary, as the color matched perfectly! Here are some pics!

Thanks for the compliments guys! I purchased both the hood and vents from Mopar (hartzheim dodge). The pictures shown are without the vents installed, I love the aggressive look, and may leave them out.

The hood looks great! I have a Question....if 100 owners of 03 to06 vipers change their hoods, does that take away a supply of 2008 hoods from inventory for future needs of 2008 viper owners?
or are they still manufacturing 2008 hoods?

Love the new hood. It really changes the looks of the car. Not a fan of the H wheels like everyone else here.

You have about 30% more airflow thru the 6 vents at 60 mph with the grills OUT.
This is a primary reason why the toe-box (footwell) is so cool.

You may not realize that you are also achieving more DOWNFORCE (less lift) as a result.

Here are some updated photo's of the viper with some new wheels and more close ups of the hood. The viper disposes so much heat, while I'm driving I can stick out my arm, and feel nothing but warmth, and then extend further and feel the cold weather. It's obscured how much heat comes out of those vents! I highly recommend the 2008 hood to every Gen3 owner. It's a MUST HAVE! :headbang:

It's probably all a wash.

There were a bunch of 08's wrecked anyways.

In any event, the 08 Hood looks awesome, along with the wheels.

It's nice that it's a functional and not just a bling upgrade.

Wow that looks awesome, I bet you really see some heat boiling from that hood at stop lights :)
