Hello,

I currently don't have a viper but i try to use viper parts on my 2012 Charger srt8 and have some issues.

I try to fit 2013 cluster to my Charger. I made a custom harness with connectorrepairkit.mopar to match pin's but the cluster don't turn on.

Do connectorrepairkit.mopar is for US wiring ?
Do wiring is different between US and Canada/Mexico ?

My Charger comes from Canada and so do the Viper cluster i have (for km/h)

Thank you

Do you mean no power at all or it just doesn't display anything? Most of the modern clusters are CAN based, so I think there's a decent chance that the signals between the two might not be compatible, even if all the pins lined up. You would hope that some of the generic stuff would be the same (like gauge values), but with so many dashes being digital and reconfigurable, that might be a pretty good challenge. Have you got any more info on the build? Sounds interesting, so I'm just curious now.

There is zero evidence to support that the Viper cluster would be programmed to accept the SRT-8 inputs. The CAN decode is surely completely different, as they dont share any common modules or electrical architecture.

At first, i considered a 2015+ Challenger cluster swap. But there is a lot of problem with steering buttons, gear indicator, fuel level,... and it need something (Tazer) to be plug in OBD port all the time to work. I don't want that.
2013 Viper and 2012 Charger have same kind of steering buttons, so i was thinking mine can match and act "normal" with Viper cluster.

It seems that the cluster need CAN signal to turn on, so it's normal that it doesn't turn on with just 12V. I have to plug in the Charger harness to see if it turns on. Or at least get signals from OBD to see if cluster works
