3.55 gears

hello to everyone ....I know this question has probably been asked many times...but I'm new to this forum...I have a basically stock 02 acr & would like to know if anybody has put in 3.55 gears & saw an improvement in acceleration..keep in mind that my vehicle is stock...would it be worth it to change from the 3.07 to 3.55....thx to everyone...
