Looking for some extra juice? How about 554 HP and 583 lb-ft Torque! Here is some information that may be new to many of you.

Mopar Performance has a “Viper SRT 10 Power Kit” available through your local Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealers.

The pieces are as follows:

Race Controller - P/N P4510172 $399
Race Camshaft - P/N P4510171 $345
Race Exhaust System - P/N P4510176 – no cats $849

This kit will void you power train warranty. However, some dealers may be willing to back your system if they install the pieces.

Since the Race Exhaust System has no cats, you may want to opt for the following:

Cat-Back Exhaust System - P/N P4510608 $545

Other Mopar Performance Parts to consider:

Race Oil Pickup (Swing Arm)- P/N P4510174 – comes with oil pan $1999
Lightweight Flywheel - P/N P4510169 $ 899
Underdrive Crank Pulley - P/N P4510177 $ 345
Belts for above: w/air cond - P4510177
w/o air cond - P4510233 $25

Exhaust Headers (P/N P4510178) are also available, but these mothers are expensive at $5799. Don’t know how much extra HP they produce. If someone knows or has info on any of the above, please chime in. Also, prices may vary from dealer to dealer.

OK, you've got my attention!

I'm asumming that added HP is to the engine not at the rear wheels?
Any idea what a dealer would charge for the install of just the minimum parts?

Best guess from a local dealer is about $3K to install all pieces.

Would like to hear estimates from others.

Does anyone know if this package is 50-state emissions compliant? Also, I have seen some previous posts that mentioned a Mopar Race Controller that disabled the a/c. Does this package allow you to retain the a/c function?

I like the package but would want to know if it still allows the car to be driven practically on the street.

Thanks for the information.

I think Chuck is installing the power kit now on an SRT. I was there last week and there was a Red SRT10 in the shop getting these mods... Not sure whose car it was or if it is done yet. Chuck did mention that the heads have to come off.

$3000 for what? Some of or all of the above?

I'm doing one now but just cam, controler & exhaust and that wont be anywhere near $3K.

So Chuck, if I have the Corsa track, and all I would need is the performance computer set up and the cam, I could pick up 50 horses over stock.....sounds like a plan to me. How much for the parts and labor thru you. PM me :headbang:

My concern with this is with everyday driveability: It seems that the car generates the most sill and cabin heat when in stop and go traffic as opposed to high speed driving when the heat does not seem to be much of an issue anyway.

Oh well, looks like the car will remain stock for the time being.

If the Race controller is for off-road (racing) application, isn't it supposed to be the other way around? A/C stops when the car is moving and A/C works when the car is sitting and idling? Can any one confirm this as I am about to place an order of race controller for my daily driven SRT10
