6 point harness safety belts

I have been working on this 04 viper this past weekend installing an Autoform Rollbar, heat and sound insulation, RT 3" cats, Corsa Exhuast and some 6 point safety belts. My question is will I have an issue with the orginal safety belt light being on if the factory belts are removed? Is there a way to turn it off???

Look in your owners manual, there is a process to disable the chime if you are not using the original belts. I think it still chimes once right after you start the car and the light will stay on, but it won't keep beeping in your ear.

I tried what Kenny said above earlier this year and could not get it to work on my 2003 viper so I talked my dealer's tech into turning off the chime and the light with his programmer while he was doing a reflash on my headlights. I had previously disconnected the wire going to the seat underneath the seat as this makes the system think that no one is sitting in the seat.
