To tell you the truth I have only driven my car for a total of 20 minutes and have now owned it for a couple of months. I found it online and bought it. I have been working out of state and flew home for Christmas to see it in person for the first time.

It sprung an oil leak at the s/c during the first 20 minutes of me seeing and driving it. It was out of commision for the remainder of my 3 days home. :( I've been out of town since then and it will be another month before I get to go home and play with it again. I've been buying parts and accessories for it and having them shipped home for my dad to install. I had Belanger headers put on since the video clip, and haven't even heard them yet. I can't wait to hear and see if I can tell a difference. I might not be able to hear the difference since I didn't hear it for long in the first place.

So to answer your question as to how I like it w/o cat...I would like it with or w/o cats as long as I've been waiting to spend some quality time and getting to know her!!!

You WILL hear the difference!! I run Behanger headers/exhaust minus cats and LOVE it!! You will find it sounds much deeper and louder! It's the first thing I will do to any future Viper the I purchase. Let us know what you think when you hear it....

nice numbers...besides the paxton what did it have when it made 708rwhp?

At that time it only had the paxton and exhaust, minus cats. It didn't have the headers yet.

To be honest, you start talking over my head quickly when you start asking the techincal questions. All I know is I was told at that HP the fuel couldn't keep up with the air and it had to be tuned back to around 650 rwhp. I'm told the next step is bigger injectors. And of course I've been researching and think it would be smart to start beefing up my drivetrain along with any additional HP mods.

I will keep everybody posted once I get to finally hear it in a month or so.

Ya'll take care...

Out of curiosity where did your Paxton spring an oil leak from? There are a few of us here that had seal failures and I am wondering if yours is another one.

It sprang a leak where the oil line screws into the s/c. I wasn't a major fix. I thought I could tighten it myself and ended up breaking the fitting off in the s/c. I think there was a crack in the fitting to begin with, rather than it simply being loose. From what I understand, Paxton's are kind of notorious for leaks upon their initial installation, but once you get them right they are worth the money.

By the way, your car looks really good with the stripes. :2tu: I read on another post where you said that they were vinyl. How much were parts and installation if you don't mind me asking? Also, how do they look close up? Last question, is this something that requires professional installation?

Been there and done that with that fitting to. If you don't have the street owners manual or warranty info you have to blow that fitting out at every 3K oil change. You might want to keep a spare around. I paid about 700.00 for the stripes including professional installation. I wouldn't recommend doing yourself. They look good up close, and from a couple feet away if you didn't know they were vinyl you would think they are painted. It also gave the car a lower and meaner looking stance in my opinion.
