thats why you have to be careful when you buy an older viper, with very low miles (VERY TYPICAL), and the car has the original tires. it may sound "cool" or impressive, but it is a danger when the car is driven, especially with these high HP cars.
Thanks for the link. This is the perfect video to get across the message I have been trying to get out to our local members. I have witnessed several Vipers get destroyed due to old tires. They have all been grip related, but tire age definitely played a role.
