Alarm issue

Make sure the wires are connected to the reset lock in the glove box. The alarm won't arm if the wires are loose.

mine does not have the glove box reset, but (and this sounds dumb) I cound not get mine to reset either after I did some stereo work. I thought I fried the EEM. By dumb luck I checked and had (2) blown fuses. So check your fuses.

The alarm controller is on the same power circuit as the radio.

yes, I realize the circuits are not connected, that is why I did not check the fuses first. I must have shorted something out while I had the door harness apart. Real easy to do. I have also heard of popping weak fues if you have power draw while reconnecting the battery.
