Alarm Question

I was wondering what would happen if you set the alarm on a Viper but then could not get it to turn off. You would not be able to get in the car and the alarm would disable the engine? Just wondering not that this has happened but just wanted to know in case that it ever does.

I have an 02 rt/10, woodhouse told me the alarm going off would disable the engine after 10 minutes. if your remote was out of sync, you can disable the alarm using a keyhole in the roof of the center console glove box

On my 1998 it had the key hole in the glove box as well but the 97 does not have it?

Some one must know what you would have to do if the alarm was set off and the key fob would not turn it off.
