While at Viper Days, I discussed the "track" alignment that a local performance shop put on my car, and I think I need to make some changes. (To be fair, they are mainly a Porsche shop, and I believe they went with that setup; I didn't give them my own settings). So, can someone give me their recommendation for Camber, Castor, and Toe settings for a good track setup? My plan would be to go with something like -.7 degrees, then pull the sport shims at the track to get it to -1.7 degrees. However, any thoughts on Toe and Castor would also be appreciated. Currently, I'm having some issues with push and turn-in on corners, and am trying to get them resolved before heading to Texas in October.

Andy,

This is what I run for alignment settings:

Camber:
Front -1.8 to -2.0 per side
Rear -1.2 to -1.5 per side

Castor:
Front 5.5 to 7.0 positive (towards 5.5 will help turn in)
Rear 1.0 positive

Toe:
Front 1/16" to 1/8" toe out per side
Rear 1/16" toe in per side

Hoosiers may require a bit more negative camber.

Hope this helps. Good luck in Texas.

Best regards,
