Item# 2468281652 Someone lifted my pictures, VIN and description from my Autotrader.com ad and placed on Ebay - they are trying to sell my car for a buy it now price of $27,000

Will be interesting to see how long before Ebay pulls it down - I just told them it was bogus - seems like they have quality control issues more and more

It degrades our cars. I hear all the time:

"I can buy one on eBay for $XXXXXX"

So many people do not understand the number of scams on eBay. To me, if somone takes money based on the sale for a car they do not own, that is basically autotheft. The Feds to to run a sting operation and pound these guys' nuts.

Too many scams on Ebay now days. They need to seriously tighten down before they start going down the tubes. I won't use Ebay because of all the scams. Perfect time for someone to start up another company that does what they do, only start off right from the beginning with very, VERY strict requirements, a no-tolerance policy, and immediate response to anything shady that might slip by. Ebay is doing a lousy job. Ebay *****.

It's called the VCA Classifieds :) Yes we have the ocasional scammer, but we address things quickly.... Also many ads do not go in because of errors like "'94 GTS", and "'02 ACR RT/10". We have enough knowledge of Vipers to see errors, contact the posters, and correct them, before an ad goes in.
