I was reading the recent posts about guys with older RT/10's and GTS's with running/stalling/misfire issues.
The other day I had to run to the store, nice day, so took out the Viper....went about 500 yards when it started to miss really bad, at the next stop sign, it stalled, it would turn over, but would not fire. Left it for 30 seconds, turned the key, started right up.
Never really gave it a second thought, just put it down to the fact that it had been really hot and humid, maybe vapor lock, I don't know, nothing serious.
I drove the car a few times since then, just around town, for Sunday morning breakfast etc etc, ran great.

Today decide to take it to work, get on the highway and doing 65, it starts misfiring, not constant, but every 8 - 10 seconds. I pull off the highway, get on Route 1 and take it back home..now all along Route 1 it runs great, but I am only doing 30 - 40 mph in 2nd - 3rd. Runs fine all the way back home (6 miles).
Pull into the garage and after reading some of the posts in the past I was going to check the battery connections (which I had recently changed) In the trunk there was a real funky smell, and the relay on the passenger side wall by the amp (which I am guessing is the fuel pump relay) was some what warm.
I am guessing maybe the relay is dying, any thoughts?

Just some background, my car was recently serviced by the Wizard/fix my alarm problem (thing won't arm/program and goes off on its own!!) and it has recently received new plugs, new wires, new battery, new head gaskets all new fluids etc etc.

cheers
Nick
