I did the same thing. I called a local locksmith and they were able to cut a key from the vin#. I just had to bring my license to pick it up. Cost was under $ 5.00.

Looks like there is a way.....it was not posted in that thread.....and should not be posted if it's that easy. If anyone knows how to get in like the way they are talking (not talking) about in the above thread, pm me your phone #. thanks

It's somewhat easy on the older Gen I cars ...

You can jack up the rear of the car and remove the lower wheel well panel. The right side is easiest. Push out the rubber block off cap and reach way in and grab :)

Been there ... done that.
