Anybody find a good pedal replacment or polished OEM\'s?

I saw some other threads about this. Has anyone replaced there stock pedals? I took mine off to polish them up with the dremel. The problem is that the dead pedal and the gas are the only aluminum ones. The clutch and brake are gritty not smooth like the others and seem to have rust (not the same material). Anyway my wife keeps pointing them out to me that they should be shinny  (figures)? Partsrack has some but from the pictures they look kinda cheesy (black dots) but thats from a photo so maybe somebody here has them and can tell me otherwise? The ones that reelwheels sells are shinny but dang they are expensive.

Hi There I bought the ones from rear wheels. They are good design , I know they were expensive. I just bit the bullet, and they worked well for me . RICK

i think the stock pedals are a work of art and are also form following function. pedal covers with rubber nubs just dont seem to follow that same axiom. and i think there is a greater chance of slipping off the rubber pads than the metal stockers

Yea those are the ones I saw "Hiss". How do they feel? Those black dots (rubber?) seem to be real high and I wasn't sure about them. Whats your take on those when shifting etc?

While the ZA covers with rubber dots are a thing of beauty I totally have to agree with you Hiss. The stock pedals get the job done. I have toyed with the idea of drilling out the indented holes in mine to provide ventilation to my feet and to lighten them somewhat.

Shandon-I really like them. Their not that high. They send you a small emery board to scuff them up. I did this when I installed them and my foot has never slipped off the pedal even under agressive driving.

You beat me to this topic. I was going to start the same post.
I'd like to polish the stock ones as well but, it sounds like that doesn't work. Not sure I care for the after market look though. I had some on the GTS and took them back off for new stock pedals.

What about painting them?

Note: I removed the dead pedal. Kept getting my foot hung up on it.

Viperbilliam-yes-not hard at all. Now if you are a big person it could be a little difficult finding the room to maneuver around.
