anybody in the shreveport, la area

Going to be moving there in the next 2 months. Don't have a viper yet. My goal is to make it a Christmas present to myself. Just wanted to see if there were any viper owners/enthusiasts in the area.

Been reading the forum for a little while, just never joined. Learned alot of stuff, and looking forward to meeting some really great people!

Welcome to the Mid-South!

Shreveport is about 2 1/2 hours from my place, feel free to drop me a note and stop by, our regional VP lives in Rustin, about an hour and fifteen minutes from Shreveport, he has an R/T 10, GTS, and SRT-10. We also have a nice event there late spring every year.

Our region has a Fall Foliage event scheduled for Oct 31st - Nov 2nd in Hot Springs, AR... may be worth the trek.

I live in Shreveport and would be happy to take you out in the Viper until you get yours. The Mid South region has a yearly get together in Shreveport and I've met a lot of nice people during those events. I've not been to the fall foliage tour but I here it is a beautiful drive. Jerry Walker and his good friend Bill(sorry Bill I don't remember your last name)are involved in that tour and they are as fine a people as you will ever meet. PM me when you want to get together.

Doc, You planning on making the Fall Foilage run this year? I'm in Anacoco about 100 miles South of you down I-49. I have been thinking about making the trip in my RT/10 and would like to have another Viper or Vipers along for the drive up there.

I'm still up in the air. I would love to make the trip but one of my partners was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and the work schedule is up in the air until his surgery is scheduled. If you are headed this way and need a place to stay I have plenty of room and a safe garage for the Viper.

no problem raceway is kinda in the middle of nowhere...i know where it is cause im rather close..but its hard to explain directions..they have a website..and im sure if u leave them an email..or call them..they will give you some directions..that u might be able to understand

Doc, appreciate the offer for a place to stay, might take you up on it on the way back. May have to check out some of the casino's there in Shreveport/Bossier. Hate to hear about your partner, hope everything works out well for him. My prayers will be with him for a full recovery.
