I was running the MT 26X11.5 ET streets (10" wide) on my CCW drag pac, the car was running 10.71@130 with a 1.45 60ft time at 3600ft altitude with 612 rwhp all motor, I am now installing a Paxton and I think I'm going to need some more tire. I bought a set of 28"x10 Hoosers but they did not work too tall they rubbed. I'm just not sure if the 12's are going to crash into the fender on a launch. The 26X12 M&H's are a trure 12" wide tred.

Anybody run these on the ccw drag pac?

That's interesting because, the 345/35-18's I just bought are 26.8" tall and are sporting 13 3/4" of actual tread (actually there is no tread):). I guess I'll see what happens when I launch them. My old Sport Cups were 26.2" tall and had a little over 12" of tread and never rubbed on launch. Is your car lowered?

By the way that's a killer time at 3600'!

In my opinion.....The MT tires you already have is all the tire you will need. I have ran 10" MT on supercharged and now Twin Turbo and have no wheel spin, hook up AWESOME. I run 12-14 lbs air rear, 45 lbs front skinnies. You already had 1.45 60' so I think you will be wastin money and brain strain on these bigger tires. MY 2 cents......KEEP what you got and go race....:dunno: :headbang:

Ya my car is lowered

The problem is the wheel offset, my street tires are Nitto 345/30R19 NT05R's that are 27.6" tall and near 13" wide and they fit fine. I really just dont want to have to get a different wheel made to pull them in. Right now the MT 26x11.5's (10" wide) sit prity flush with the fender.

Thanks, I'm hoping to get it into the 9's up here with the Paxton, I'm going to keep the boost lo at around 6-7psi because of my 11.1 to 1 Comp. Going to be running water/**** to be safe. Going to see how far I can push my "cream puff" bottom end. Should not take much boost to make big power with these Striker heads.

The problem is they dont prep tracks around here very well, Even N/A it was hit or miss one pass it would cut 1.45's then the next pass launched the same way it would blow the tires off all the way to the rev limiter. I had 3.55 gears and have now stepped down to 3.33 gears, but with the added 200 or so HP I expect to get from the Blower I'm thinking I/m going to have traction problems. But I'll give them a shot.

I run a 345/35/17 M&H racemaster.. Love that size and tire.. Local guy who has a 1300+whp viper has the same tire and hooks from a 40 roll with it.
