I have an awesome place where we can get access to a dyno (Inground dyno. No backing up on ramps). In Louisville. I can also arrange where we have a pretty knowledgeable Viper tech that can come and chat with us on anything you want to talk about. Too bad he doesn't live in KY because we are lacking one of them.

Let me know who would be serious about this. I will be able to arrange some decent dyno rates.

The time has not been set up. I just want to know who would be interested in going. Our In/KY VCA doesn't seem to be too active in KY besides what David does.

We can set it up anytime.

David the place I am talking about is Automotion on Broadway. They have been customers of mine for a while.

They have a Mustang Dyno with a wide band o2 for a/f readings. I think they have two dyno's but they also have a classroom right in the building for classes. Very nice!

David, help get this going! it would be fun!

For the record, ab, I have received NOTHING from the VCA HDQ that has your name on it, which, may indeed account for your lack of accuracy on posting mis-information concerning our events...such as the Jan. lunch in Cincy, Feb. Ski Meeting in Lawrenceberg, the KY tech session LAST WEEK in Lexington, the scheduled dyno day in Lexington in May, or the 3 day criise-in/car show in Frankfort in May...noting several members plan to attend David's V-10 Nationals in Bowling Green in mid April.

If indeed you are a member(which is quite possible given the delay in data flow at the start of each new year), please contact ME directly ASAP so that I can get you into the info loop...that way, you can pick and choose any/all/none of the events in which you may have an interest.

Thanks,

Steve Fess Sec VCA Ind/Ky Region, Inc. 317-402-9013

Steve before you get all fired up, what I meant to say is that I have not seen any events happening in Louisville area and there are plenty of Viper owners here that have not joined the VCA because everything is too far away from Louisville. I had my memebership in other states and I am looking to have it renewed so I can attend the VOI8 coming up like I did in Nashville. I just don't know if I should keep it with KY/IN or TN area. Both are about the same distance.

Many of the Viper owners in Louisville don't want to join the KY/IN VCA due to distance of some of the meets. I personally don't want to drive 2-3 hours to have lunch and then drive around which I'm sure is not all of your events.

Bottom line is, this thing I am trying to put together is for anyone who wants to come, VCA or Non-VCA. It will all be in good fun and learning. I'm sure a lot of the Viper Owners I know here plus exotic car owners would love to have something local. :2tu:

Thanks for the response, Adam...and NO, I am not fired up...quite the contrary. I always FEEL BADLY when I find out 3 months later, that a member has joined, but the Region does not know about him/her.

Our goal is to INCLUDE, not exclude.

Most of us have agreed that the geography of our 2 state area is a problem...and that is why we have a separate activities director in EACH state. Counting a few Indiana members scattered along the Ohio, there are around 40 members in the "Southern" group...but, sadly, many of those members have had a hard time finding their way to the various events. Hopefully, with a new mix of activities planned (and more in evolution), more folks will consider attending.

It's supposed to be FUN !!!

Even if you are not a member ( the heading under your avitar makes it a little confusing), feel free to join us as the events proceed...and since a dyno day is already on the schedule for May, bring that Viper by so that we can see what it has !!!

Please keep us posted on your dyno day plans, and I will be happy to send an "FYI" e-mail to our members on your behalf.

I know that daily life is complex with jobs, children, and other activities...but, hopefully, more and more members IN YOUR LOCAL can find time to get out and MEET EACH OTHER, then the local activities can take on a life of their own.

See Ya,

Steve
