Anyone know how to take the dash apart?

Specifically the top most part of the dash, the part that covers the passenger airbag?

Certainly NOT a easy project as you will end up almost gutting the car to do it.

I know, I am mostly there already. My question is in order to get that leather covered piece off do i have to take out the entire dash subframe (the magnesium piece)?

I have all of the screws/bolts off the leather piece, but it seems like it attached by fasteners on the backside of the magnesium frame?

Yep, we have only had one out and that is what we ended up doing.

Then I'm screwed, my car is caged and the cage goes through the magnesium frame, it isn't coming out.
