I was thinking about doing a matte black face with a black chrome lip. Like this:

The yellow VCA cars all had black chrome rims from the factory.

black chrome is great looking on all colors i think- the electroplate is not as loud,a tint of black chrome look and will corrode in salt-- tha other black chrome is clearcoted and will stand up to more rugged weather,darker in color- but will get those swirley scratch marks in them like paint on a car from washing it- verses the electroplateing will not show swirleys

wallbanger, I believe that you can find some pics on iforged's website of some black chrome. Either that or Forgeline's I can't remember.

well thanks for the feed back.. i'm not really interested in the rims with a lip .. more like these below..the six spokes are sorta similar
