Different. Look the same though. 1Tony1 and myself found out the hard way a few yrs ago. I have a thread on it somewhere.

I believe the only difference is some kind of locating pin that's only on one side with the factory mounts. The aftermarket mounts (Woodhouse), use a common part that has the dowel pin. I believe it's the passenger side that doesn't use one from the factory, but you can use a mount that has one without hurting anything (though several people have had to grind down that pin to make the mount fit easier).

I have a 1999 RT10 so a little bit of conflicting information, So I can get two right ones ( passenger side) all I have to do is grind off the dowel pin off one of them to make it fit?

Thanks

There are three basic pieces to the 1992 - 2002 engine mount assembly:
  1. The engine mount bracket - same for either side
  2. The engine mount heat shield - same for either side (same part number for 2003 - 2010 too)
  3. The engine mount insulator - there are specific part numbers for left and right
Here is what it looks like:

And of course we offer all four parts, as should your local Mopar dealer:

We hope this helps!

Installed motor mount brackets were are the same for each side.

The insulator from Mopar as mentioned earlier would be different left to right.

Going from memory the Woodhouse mounts seemed to be the same. Or I lucked out and put them on the correct sides on the first try.

I just used the original configuration and put the new mounts and insulators in the same positions.

Yeah, that's what I've heard in my recent searches (my car looks like it's needing some replacements). The Woodhouse insulators are a common part that can be used on both sides because they have the locating dowel, but some people have to grind it down to make installation easier on one side of the engine (that doesn't have a dowel on the factory insulator).

Those mounts brackets look bent. Might want to change those out or at least straighten them prior to the re-install.

If you are looking to go OEM, I have factory unused mounts. I have the brackets (aluminum) and the mount (steel & rubber).
I have multiple sets in stock for gen1/gen2 right now.
PM if interested in picking up a pair of OEM factory parts...
