I've not seen a 2001, but I doubt anything has changed. They say alpine on them, but I can promise you that you wont find them in any audio store. They are alpine made for chrysler. If it is like my '00 you will not be able to change out the radio without changing out the amp and vice versa. They are connected by a "special" wire which is unlike the normal rca's found in the audio market. Looks like an s-video cable found in home theater actually. The speakers are paper with tiny magnets. There are several folks on here who have upgraded. You can check out the link im my signature for what I have done to my gts.
