You would never get your money back for the alteration. I also think it would definitely reduce the value of the car.
Just for kicks how much for the bits and pieces?

I love race cars but am not too sure on the looks of that car, its very radical, It would not appeal to many :( I think it makes the Viper look like a Kit car

I think it would reduce resale value, personally. At the very least, it would reduce the possible pool of buyers. You'd have to find someone that wants exactly that car with that kit. I do believe there is a cowboy for every saddle though. May just take a lot of time to find him.

If that was free, it would come close to my car. That is quite easily the worst looking kit I have seen, and I don't care if it is functional or not.

I appreciate the hard work that goes into something like that but,

I'd never do that, the car will probably be worth 18,000 after that lol...seriously

At least 25k to complete plus the time and all the problems that will arrise. The wing style is cheesey IMO and looks more for style or lack of than functional. Is that Keatings shop in Port Lavaca?

The rear wing would need to go...
The rear end kinda looks like a cross between Gen 2 and Gen 3 Comp Coupe,,,,IMO

This is what you do when you get a great deal on a car that has a lot of body damage.

For that much, I'd rather convert my Viper into a Street Serpent and still have some money left over for upgrades!

You would be driving a painted, finished SS for the price of the parts alone on that car...

And...

You would still have a money left for mods....:dunno:

FWIW... I know from personal experience that those body panels don't just bolt on.
Are you doing the work yourself?
If not, your body shop will probably want do the custom install on a T'M ba$i$.

Installation ("fabrication" is probably a more accurate term...) is a huge hidden expense on building cars with aftermarket body panels...

Unfortunately, I have a stack of receipts to verify this....

I spoke to Jeff regarding the price of his SS conversion and the advertised price on his website includes installation and paint, complete turnkey package. Which, compared to the Autoform kit I would still have over $4k left for upgrades. Btw - the Autoforms $18K
Does not include installation.

One small but very important detail to consider...

The Autoform kit you are looking at is for a Gen 2.
The SS is for a Gen 3.
Your sig states you have a Gen3....

Decision made....:dunno:

FWIW... There has been a couplee SS cars go up for sale.
They sold for market value.
In other words, the conversion was a "wash"...
