B/M shifter bind under hard accel.? anyone?

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.
New B/M, just hard/notchy under full accel.
1-2 and worse on 2-3.

Smooth as silk during normal driving.

That is why in the B&M directions it says "if you want a silk smooth no vibration shift" you have to use the original lever with the rubber vibration damper in it. I also shortened my shifter by drilling the center out in a drill press and then tapping it then cutting off 1". Makes the shift even shorter and harder. Big slammm. LOL
