I recall hearing on the board to only use stock plugs and to change them every 5,000 miles.
As for the bosch +4 i just put them in my mother-in-laws 98
Dodge minivan (v-6)and what a difference!! The pickup is much better and the gas mileage is a little better. and it just seems
the engine all together runs better!!
i would recommend them for other applications but not a Viper!!
just my 2 cents...

Sheyster, I do use plus 4 in my race viper Snake Pit Racing # 20 they work great especially in sustained high RPM application but also my car has a few mods, roller rockers extrude honed intake K&N air box & over size throttle bodies upon inspection they look very good beige color.

Platinum plugs are NOT recommended for NOS applications. I forget why not.

The cited application in a race car may have seen success in race---not street---applications.

Stock Plugs have a "long reach" into the combustion chamber, and I do NOT believe the B+4s have a longreach fitment.

There is NO dyno proof of extra HP w/ any plug.....or Caldwell/Orceca would use them! OEM champions indeed are cheap and work great. Just replace em every 6000-7000 miles! Wires at 15-17k (10 Plugs $19, wires $79-$99 at PartsRack, thanks.)
