I just swapped out my stocker pads for the Hawk HPS, and while bedding the brakes I heard a loud click sound- I guess I never really braked that hard before, I don't track the car, for those of you that do ...am I hearing the anti-lock kick in?

Thanks in advance,

wonder if you hadnt put the pads in 100% and they were settling out of a slightly "binded" state?

with Hawks you will be able to impose the ABS a lot easier, but I doubt its going to make a loud click sound. Perhaps minimual pulsating in the brake pedal at best.

Doesn't sound like abs. I'd pull the wheels off and give them a once over just to make sure nothing broke. Brakes are kind of important.

I would aso have to say that you should remove the pad and make sure you got them installed properly. Also check to make sure you got the 2 retaining pins tapped in tight enough, you know the ones that hold the sping plate on top of the pads.
