I've posted a couple of times within the last two months about a problem with my "00" GTS. I'd be driving along and all of a sudden the car would start back firing, lose power, want to stall, buck like a bronc and generate a burning smell. It happened close to home both times and I was able to barely get there. I had several suggestions from the board and checked them all.
Well it happened again. Had to load her on a flat bed and get it to the dealer.
The dealer told me today the computer indicated a bad cam sensor, and it had to be replaced.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Martin,
If you would like? I'd be more happy to call the Dealer
on your behalf to make sure that we are all on the same PAGE!

Give me a call?!

Hope your Vipers buck is soon sorted.

(Nothing in the Texas air...as come to think of it mine does Dressage! Sorry for the lack of help in this reply, just trying to give you a smile)!

OK Martin,
I talked to the Tech today. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to talk with me. We both agree that it looks like a Cam Sensor. The Tech at you Dealership now has my phone# if he has any more questions!
Kept me posted!
