Pull off left rear wheel, take down splash guards that are toward rear of wheelwell, then you'll see battery tray.

I just gotta say who ever designed that battery location needs to be shot!

There's three different size bolts two different types of fastners and that's AFTER you removed the wheel. If you have to put it behind the wheel in the wheel well at least make it accessible through the trunk. If that's not possible at least limit the amount of different types of fasteners.

If I work at a very quick continuous pace I can remove the battery in about 15 mins. That's ridiculous.
