Hey Snakebitten, GREAT meeting you today. As usual awesome photos especially the 06 Bumblebee coupe! ;)

Love the Lambos too, happy to see we got a real Countach this week. The fake Countach owner was a nice guy though.

We had an AMAZING 429 Boss, as well as sweet Hemi Challenger's and Hemi Chargers (classic muscle!) all I can say is WOW!

Right back at ya Pete...I was so exited about the cars I forgot about the ride man lol....Im gonna bug ya for one next week lol....Bring a crobar cause that might be the only way to get me in and out lol...Hope I fit..This was the biggest turnout Ive ever witnessed...Sooo many cars and not enough megabits on my card...I took over 300pics and still didnt get all the cars...Time to upgrade...See you guys next week weather permitting :cool:

snakebitten, im with you. the countach started it all for me with my first ride in one at 17-18. the guy was crazy enough to let me drive it. i was scared of it, so was driving it slow. the guy tells me to stomp on it

570rwhp 350z that reportedly gave the [*****] Viper a run. Guy in Viper didnt want to go full throttle though since the cops were out...I believe him as he is pushing near 700rwhp..Would have spanked the Z if he did hit it hard :eek: ..Heres a pic of the two of them. Couldnt get more pics of the Viper as he was leaving

Very nice meeting you today as Pete said. Today was really incredible, you would think it was a summer day with the turnout.

When I left, I couldn't help but stay on Ocean Parkway because I saw a bunch of Ferrari's up ahead, I wanted to go play with them. None of them wanted to run, so I blasted past them and they disappeared behind me. But all of a sudden I see this blue and white speck flying up on my right. It was the guy in the FordGT with the turbos. He pulls along side of me at about 70, I drop it into third gear and punch it. I know he has twice my horsepower but what the heck. He just hangs along next to me as I hit fourth and then he nails it. My God, he left me like I was parked.

That car took off like nothing I have even seen, and I was nailed to the floor in 4th at about 120 and climbing and he literally put 10 car lengths on me in a couple seconds. It was awesome. He slowed down and I pulled up next to him and just shrugged...nice guy. I think that is the fastest car at Captree, even the Enzo would not hang with him.

Sorry I missed it. I had a party to attend to Saturday night. Nonetheless, I took a drive to Captree around 2pm yesterday for nothing else more than just a nice drive.

Out in the distance I see a orange car which I originally thought was a copperhead. Well it turned out to be a new ZO6 which I think was in a few pics you posted a few weeks back. While he wouldnt line up with me nose to nose, we did make several runs with him ahead of me. He would take off and I would give chase. Surprisingly I would run him down each time. Never did he have any advantage. I even thought he would have an advantage at the topend but I ran him down there also.

I guess the few mods i have made difference since I heard that stock for stock, the Zo6 would pull a genIII.

Again thanks for the pics. I hope there is some nice weather in the next few weeks to finally make it there in the morning.

Oh btw heres a link to a video that one of our club members made from inside 404rwhp SC 350Z and the Ford GT....The Heffner Ford GT was just waxing everything at Captree yesterday lol...Bikes turbo/sc Z's, Fassssst red Porsche, Cuda, bikes...Just watch the madness...Fr you thatcant see what the FGT speedo is saying its around 205mph...

While ocean parkway is pretty smooth and straight, you do have to pick you spots wisely when going high rates of speed.

I was traveling down ocean parkway last sunday at high speed chasing a Z06. While at around 150 or so i ran into some uneven payment. Man did that scare the crap out of me. The wheel ****** and pulled heavily into the next lane. The car bobbed up and down.

Towards the end of that highway it gets bad...

There was nothing in that lot on Sunday, hundreds of hotrods, that could come close to hanging with that GT. No contest.

Judging from that video, i certainly agree. That car is rediculous. He even is running stickies on the rear. Smart.
