Jerry;

I posted to you (I think) that your problem may be a low battery if you have not driven the Viper for more than a few days.

Even if your dash lights come on, I think you should try a simple jump start with cables from another car. Buy a Deltran "Battery Tender" and use it whenever you don't drive it for more than 10 days or so. The colder it is, the faster your battery goes. I have found that mine lives maybe a week with the security system on, and about ten days/ two weeks if I don't arm it and let it sit in my heated garage.

The battery tender is a necessity to me, and it only costs about $60.00. I bought mine through the Herrington catalog, but a specialized battery place should be able to get one. You can leave the Viper hooked up just about indefinitely I believe.

Try the jump start, and then drive it for twenty minutes or so to restore your battery.

Sincerely,

Jim
