I found a place (ACPT) that makes carbon fiber drive shafts. I was wondering if anyone has used one with say the aluminum fly wheel. They claim that harmonic vibrations are eliminated, and that (obviously) they weigh a lot less. Reading their web site reveals that many heavy duty machinery applications use their drive shafts. Good reading....anyway my question is if this is a good way to spend $700 or are the aluminum drive shafts in our cars adequate.
Thanks Tristan

The Viper's shaft is so short already, I dunno what weight savings there would be. Rotating mass is a good thing to eliminate...

Ill snoop
